Biography
Prof. Ian D. Marsland
Professor Marsland received a B.Sc.Eng. (Honours) degree in
Mathematics and Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston in
1987. From 1987 to 1990 he was with Myrias Research Corp.,
Edmonton, and CDP Communications Inc., Toronto, where he worked as a
software engineer. He received a M.Sc. in 1994 and a Ph.D. in
1999, both in Electrical Engineering from the University of British
Columbia. He joined the Department of Systems and Computer
Engineering at Carleton University in 1999, where is he now an
Associate Professor. His research interests fall in the area
of wireless digital communication and indoor localization.
