Ports can be created and attached to Atomic Models by right clicking on the canvas and selecting Add Port option

For every created port it must be selected an ID, the In/Out property and a Type (Integer, Float)

Every added port appears in the upper left panel

From the canvas contextual menu, the ports can also be delected by selectin the Delete Port Option.
