AIS' 2000 will be its 10th anniversary taking place at its inaugural location Tucson, Arizona, USA. It follows its predecessorgoals by providing a forum for scientists, academicians, and professionals; alike from around the globe to present their latest and exciting research findings in various fields of modeling, simulation, collaborative/distributed computing, artificial intelligence, and their integration. While some of these research areas continue to seek and answer basic and fundamental inquiries for more than half a century, others have emerged recently due to advancement in various areas of computing techniques and technologies. It is, therefore, of great importance to incorporate state of the art technologies and practices in building M&S environments that not only fulfill the needs of specific disciplines, but also provide a suite of capabilities for all user communities at large. It is in this spirit that we are excited to host a wide variety of research findings in AIS' 2000
The AI, Simulation, and Planning conference welcomes contributions in the topics listed below and those that emerge from their intersection, as well as established application areas such as those listed below. In addition to technical sessions and invited keynote speakers; thought provoking discussions through panels and tutorials/workshops will be offered.
