IASTED International Conference
Applied Simulation and Modelling (ASM
2000)
July 24-26, 2000, Banff, Alberta, Canada
SPONSOR
The International Association of Science and Technology for Development
(IASTED)
Technical Committee on Simulation and Modelling
LOCATION
Situated 128 km (80 miles) west of Calgary and just inside the east
gate of Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Banff,
Alberta, is home to breathtaking landscape and is just a short trip
to Lake Louise, Canmore and Yoho National Park. Banff National Park
is the habitat of abundant wildlife and has some 6,641 sq. km of mountains,
forests, rivers and lakes. Each year, millions of visitors travel to
Banff to marvel at the emerald waters of Lake Louise, walk amongst the
flower-filled heavens at Sunshine Meadows, and drive beneath the towering
jagged peaks lining the Icefields Parkway. Snow-capped peaks, glistening
glaciers and sweeping vistas are just one part of the allure of Banff
National Park. You can enjoy all the comforts of home in the town of
Banff, or step out into the wilderness to see the habitats of some of
North America's wildest creatures. Banff also has countless restaurants,
galleries and entertainment options available. If shopping is more your
style, there are many beautiful stores to choose from.
