An international group is trying to develop standards for a computer processable representation of DEVS. The commitee will discuss standarization to supports common understanding, sharing and interoperability of DEVS implementations.

We invite researchers interested in this action to join the group. At present, a number of activities had been carried out, and new ones have been planned for the near future:

  • The first official meeting withing the Sponsoring institution will be held at SISO Spring Interoperability Workshop (http://www.sisostds.org/siw/02Spring/index.htm), Orlando, Florida, USA, March 10-15, 2002. Press here for the detailed agenda of the conference

  • A new meeting is planned for 2002 AI, Simulation and Planning In High Autonomy Systems-AIS'2002 (http://ais2002.dei.uc.pt/) Lisbon, Portugal April 7-10, 2002 (the call for papers for this conference has been extended recently).

    The group activities will be sponsored by SISO, the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization and the Society for Modelling and Simulation International .
