About me

Michael Weiss is an Associate Professor in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton University in Ottawa and a faculty member in the Technology Innovation Management (TIM) program. His research interests include open source, ecosystems, patterns, and analytics. He is the author of over 150 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals and conferences, and has contributed to multiple open source projects. He has chaired several recent conferences, including MCETECH (2017) and PLoP (2019). He is also a board member of the Hillside Group.
