pijk (t) = [Tij(t) ]-a[C(i,j)]-ß / Nk

Nk = Sk in (S-Tabu(k)) [Tij(t) ]-a[C(i,j)]-ß

a, ß are control parameters that determine the sensitivity of the algorithm to link cost and pheromone.

C(i,j) a function that depends upon the type of traffic, the length and utilization of the link
