Tuck Shop Check In
Starting Monday, September 15th, the procedures at the Tuck Shop will be changing slightly.  As per usual, everyone must check in with the Tuck Shop upon arrival at Athletics.  Also, as usual, you must take a wrist band or have your hand stamped when you check in.  New this year is that all members (regular, swim-only, etc.) must leave their card at the Tuck Shop and claim it when leaving the building.  Remember that this is the busiest time of year in the Athletics building, so you may want to allow a few extra minutes for check in.  Thanks for your cooperation!

Thanks to Spring/Summer Coaches Garry and Danny
The swimmers and coaching staff would like to extend a big "thank you" to Garry and Danny for their coaching of the Whitecaps "A" group during Spring/Summer 2003.

Ask the Coach

Dear Coach:  I want to swim with the 7:30am Earlybirds, but that group is full.  What can I do?  A. Procrastinator

Dear A. Procrastinator:  Remember that many groups do fill up, especially for the Fall session, so next time try to register a little sooner!  For the 7:30am Earlybirds, the Athletics office has a waiting list, which is quite short.  If we have any cancellations or if the number of swimmers coming to workout is fewer than expected, we will invite those on the waiting list to join as space permits.  To get on the waiting list, call (520-4480) or drop by (2nd floor) the office between 8:30am and 4:30pm M-F.
